Posts in Houses admin

We need a locations admin section with comment, area (e.g. brixton, shoreditch, ealing), rent (ranging between £60-£300 pw?) and desireability ratings (do we need a desireablility rating or shall we just use the areas to sort that out?).

Then when you go and see Duncan (we need a picture from Rob) he'll give you a choice of half a dozen or so properties you can rent.

Maybe we should have a form in which we specify what we need from the house and he ignores the specifications completely.

Good point. I'll sort that out tonight. I think Ross, Rob and Ed will come up with some zingers for "Duncan's Description".

Should we have a "Duncan's Description" and a "What it's really like"? My only worry is that it's a bit of an easy joke. Maybe have them both, but keep the Duncan's Description to something closer to a Pitch rather than a Description. Actually yes, Duncan's Pitch is better "The Best of Streatham combined with the ease of Sydenham; Crystal Palace is the up and coming place to be seen in". "Delicately balanced Maisonette, cheekily parodying Art Deco and Vorticism in its architecture: I call it Vortica-Deco III". It has to be a drop-down for the area, but we want to make sure we get some description of the area, so "sandwiched between a 70's kitsch furniture shop, and a 70's kitsch hat shop, this desirable Hoxtonite residence features a real fireman's pole and a bust of Shakespeare where you can pull the head back and press a hidden button to switch the lights on, you know, like in Batman".

No, actually, I think the Duncan's description should speak for itself. The realism should be in the values:
Rent:
Wankiness/Pretension:
Size:
Comfort:
Transport:
Aesthetics:

Practically, the only values we'll need for formulas are wankiness/pretension (i.e. Hoxton kudos) and rent do we need to set values for the others.

I suppose tho others (and geographical location) might be useful for more complicated conversations with other characters or if we try to work out some sort 'come back to my place' for people you meet in the bar.

We'll have to talk it through tonight.
