You get near the shop where your packet of ciggies or block of 'extra' gum lives....all should be simple. But no, some little turd of a kid has decided to dump his bike across your path - simply dumped - tires spread all over the pavement, frame blocking all routes for poor old dears and in the way of your ciggies or pack of 'extra' gum. Why is this? Do these turds simply feel that their trusty steeds have had a hard days ride and need to be 'let out' to rest their weary legs, rest upon the verdent pastures of our pavements, lap from the restful waters of our gutters? No - they are simply little turds. Oh to get hold of one of those machines whose sole perpose is to compress freshly lain tarmac - a big pneumatic foot - and to run over their precious yet callously discarded steeds - this would indeed be joy. But perchance the owner of the steed would come after me, steal my Twix and shove it where it don't quite fit and then beat my ass in to a fine pulp - oh well, better let the steed rest for now - but I will be back! |
